Joseph P. Fisher joined DC Road Runners in 2010. He has been the lead web developer and a co-race director for the National Capital 20 Miler since 2017. Joe is a three-time Boston Marathon qualifier, but he has struggled with a significant cartilage injury to his right ankle, which disrupted his training through much of the 2010s. Now in his late 40s, Joe is attempting to return to long distance running at a high level. A former literature professor, Joe currently works as the Executive Director of the Academic Resource Center at Georgetown University.
